    The past few years has seen a major boom in the popularity of 'Predator' fly fishing. Be it Pike, Zander, Bass or Pollack on anything from a huge Trout reservoir to a canal or even a rocky coastline, they all require a special kind of rod to stand up to the punishment. By developing the new XF2 Carnivore to specifically meet the needs of the predator angler, Greys have created a new product line of three rods to cover a whole host of large fly/heavy line scenarios. Developed with huge reserves of power in the butt section to give excellent lifting power and a powerful mid section to help set the hook in the tooth laden jaws of a Pike, or halt those first ballistic dives for the kelp and weed beds from fish that have a serious attitude problem. A fast recovering tip action enables huge baitfish imitations to be cast long distances or accurately flicked into thick reed beds when stalking the margins.
